GRAHAM STANLEY

Graham Stanley has been a respected member of the landscape design industry for over 40 years. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture at California Polytechnic University, Pomona. An early apprenticeship with world-renowned landscape designer John Brookes in Sussex, England laid the foundation for his design philosophy.

To this day, Mr. Stanley continues to pursue harmony and context in each landscape design, seeking to connect people with their environment. Historic preservation is a specific passion which is fulfilled through restoration of historical sites and buildings, as well as arboricultural tree preservation.

COMPANY

GRAHAM STANLEY & ASSOCIATES

Since 1989, Graham Stanley & Associates has been crafting contextual landscapes throughout Southern California, providing landscape architecture and land planning services for institutional, municipal, industrial, corporate, and private clientele. Our trained staff and decades of experience rewards our

clients with thoughtful, functional and ecological design solutions that honor, preserve, and enhance both the natural and built environments. We continually strive to create harmonious designs that connect people to the living world around them.  Many of our projects are located in sensitive coastal and hillside

habitats. Preservation and restoration of historically significant sites and structures is another specialized service that we offer our clients.

As a full-service design firm, we guide our clients through all the creative and technical aspects of the land planning process, tailoring each design to fit the unique needs of both the owner and the site. Our firm is uniquely qualified to prepare plans for California's changing climate and weather patterns. We

regularly design entire projects that provide professional expertise in native and water-wise plantings, low-flow irrigation, fire mitigation, and groundwater infiltration, all of which are designed to meet all current required State and local codes.
